County Attorney Launches New Website
- On February 24, 2015
Winterset, Iowa – Today, Madison County Attorney Matt Schultz announced the launching of a new website, www.MadisonCountyAttorney.us, to better connect citizens, victims, and defendants to resources and information in Madison County.
“I made a commitment to be tough on crime but to also be a community partner. Our new website helps do both by connecting victims to the resources they need and providing defendants quick information for classes that they may be required to attend by the Court. I’m proud that we have started the process of reaching out to the community,” said Schultz.
www.MadisonCountyAttorney.us is a full service website that connects victims with the services they need, provides forms for attorneys and defendants, answers frequently asked questions, and connects citizens with their County Government. You can also find more information on other community organizations like Madison County Cares, CRISP, and the Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center.
The site prominently displays information for the IowaVINE (Iowa Victim and Notification Everyday), the Sex Offender Registry, MADD (Mom’s Against Drunk Driving) and Bad Checks.
“I’m proud that this new website will help connect our community and support victims of crimes.”
www.MadisonCountyAttorney.us was built by a volunteer. The cost of the website was $60 for the WordPress template and a total of $327.35 for five years for domain registration and hosting. Solutions charges Madison County $500 a month for hosting the County Website.
